Hosts Who Blog Take Note
I have submitted your blog to Google’s Blog Search Pinging Service so Google will know when you’ve updated your blog and will crawl your posting. Please post more often - a couple of times a week at least. If you get a visitor and your postings are cold, they’ll never come back and you are wasting your energy.
I also want to do a PR outreach to bloggers for you. Could you please help me build your press target list of bloggers by searching Google’s Blog Search on keywords associated with your topic and audience and send an email to the ones you like best introducing yourself? Ask them if you may put them on your press list for news and then write something about their blog on yours and link to their blog.
Then send me the blog name, URL, the blogger’s name and email and I’ll put them on the press target list for your show. That way, when we do a release I can send it to them and they may blog about what you are doing.
Make sense?
You can do a couple this week, a couple next and so on and we’ll build a nice database.
What is Blog Search?
Blog Search is Google search technology focused on blogs. Google is a strong believer in the self-publishing phenomenon represented by blogging, and we hope Blog Search will help our users to explore the blogging universe more effectively, and perhaps inspire many to join the revolution themselves. Whether you’re looking for Harry Potter reviews, political commentary, summer salad recipes or anything else, Blog Search enables you to find out what people are saying on any subject of your choice.
Your results include all blogs, not just those published through Blogger; our blog index is continually updated, so you’ll always get the most accurate and up-to-date results; and you can search not just for blogs written in English, but in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese and other languages as well.

How do I get my blog listed?
If your blog publishes a site feed in any format and automatically pings an updating service (such as Google Blog Search Pinging Service), we should be able to find and list it. Also, we will soon be providing a form that you can use to manually add your blog to our index, in case we haven’t picked it up automatically. Stay tuned for more information on this.

There is a conflict of interest here between the blogger–who wants his new post to get the widest possible publicity as fast as possible–and the web-service owner–who wants his search engine or aggregator to have new blog posts long before anyone else. As a result, bloggers have turned to services such as Ping-o-matic, which pings multiple proprietary ping servers. As the blogosphere has grown, other ping “services” have cropped up, such as Pingoat and BlogFlux Pinger.
I would recommend you consider adding yourself to a number of blogging services:
