Julia Butterfly Hill Opts Out of Green Man

While 30,000 or more head to burningman.com in late August, Julia Butterfly Hill will be in Costa Rica empowering women. Suzanne Sterling, who I interviewed in episode four of my podcast, will be there as well!

The bigger question: What is the next wave after this Green Gold Rush? How are the Green movement leaders, otherwise known as the “Green Core” in the press, spending their time? What is their focus on?

Spirituality and the Daily Practice of “Spiritual Living” seem to be the next consumer trend on the rise — maybe 18 months or so. For me, Living Green is living spiritually. Learn how my guests have been “awakened” through their ecological practices…I’m getting deeper with my guests - more intimacy each week!

and…for a great retreat…here’s the info: August 24-Sept 1 2007

Yahoo! to Go Carbon Neutral in 2007
Source: GreenBiz.com
SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 17, 2007 – As part of an ambitious new plan to fight global warming, the internet giant will reduce its energy use and invest in emissions-fighting projects to make its operations carbon neutral.

By the end of 2007, Yahoo! intends to be fully carbon neutral. The company says it has already begun reviewing proposals for the first carbon-offset projects it will invest in, and reviews of the final batch of projects will occur over the rest of 2007.
