The Meditation
(Everybody starts to get into the meditation in his/her own way)

We open us to the cosmic energy. With our breathing, white golden divine light is flowing into us. The light is streaming in every cell of our body. We are glowing in this light and we feel safe and secure.

Then we connect with our planet, Gaia. We let the light in us stream into Earth, deep inside her and see it anchor in the crystalline core in the center of the planet.

In this light we are one with the cosmos and the earth, ONE with us and with ALL THAT IS.

We feel our breath streaming through our body. We open our heart and direct our awareness into the middle of our heart. We connect with our inner light, our inner Christ-power, the divine source in us. Love, Power and Peace is streaming through our hearts and fulfills us completely.

We ARE in our divine presence.
We ARE completely in our truth.
We ARE unconditional love.
We ARE a manifestation of the divine on earth.

(Hold the energies for one moment)

The divine power who we ARE in our heart fills our whole being. The divine power expands around us and connects with the energies of the other physical or etherical beings in this room.

The divine power is expanding - into the house, the place, the city. This power in us expands into the whole country and into the continent and unites with all other divine energies on the surface of Earth to ONE light, to ONE power, to ONE beaming grid of love and peace.

Our united divine power is streaming deep into the earth, into the crystalline core of the planet. There we anchor our energies and from there they flow back to the surface in powerful rays of light - and out into our solar system, into universe, filling all levels of the cosmos, penetrating ALL THAT IS.

(Hold the vision for one moment)

Everything now is light, everything now is love, everything now is peace, in ourselves and all around us.

We are back home again, at home in god, at home in ourselves. We have come back into the oneness of creation. Back to the paradise which we once left to experience ourselves, to become human beings.

We now realize who we really are: Ascended Masters in the Consciousness of Light, divine love and universal peace.

In the consciousness of our divine presence we create the New Earth. With our light and with the power of love in ourselves, we create the presence of the divine here on earth. A world full of peace, attentiveness and compassion.

This creation is awakening now. It is awakening in us, in our hearts. And through us it will awaken in this world. Humanity knows its divine potential and is finding its true nature of human beingness. The cosmic plan, the ascension into light, completes itself.

(Hold the vision for one moment)

With our consciousness we come back to the place of our physical body. We become aware once again where we are.

We take a few deep breaths and come back completely into the Here and Now. Back into our own deeply felt truth

I got this email from a friend of mine. I tried it on my cell phone (AT&T) but it did not work. Sounds like it works for Bell South - Is this working for any of you?
“I am not sure if it I knew about the red light on cars, but not the *77. It was about 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on. Lauren’s parents have always told them never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road , but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc.

Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called *77 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars near where she was and there weren’t, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way.

Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her along with the unmarked car behind her.

One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes, including previous Impersonating an Officer charges.

I never knew about the *77 Cell Phone feature, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going to a safe and quiet place. You obviously need to make some signals that you acknowledge them (i.e. put on your hazard lights) or call *77 like Lauren did.

Speaking to a service representative at Bell South Mobility confirmed that *77 was a direct link to state trooper info in all states. So, now it’s your turn to let your friends know about *77. ”

WOW. Yesterday I saw one of the most chilling movies I have seen since Zeitgeist.com,

(if you haven’t seen that one, check it out!).

The Business of Being Born is a movie made by Ricki Lake in her process of having her babies. One was done in a hospital, the other was a home birth. This documentary follows what happens to Ricki and a handful of other women as they go through the process of having babies both in hospitals and at home with midwives.

A MUST SEE for a women, especially those who plan to have children.

Some things to consider:

Maternity care is in crisis in America - use of unnecessary and deeply harmful drugs that can and do harm the baby - few natural births happening in America whereas it is quite natural in the rest of the world - women lose the power that comes with birthing - we are not even aware there IS A POWER to be had in giving birth - the ramifications of cesarean births, etc. Please go see this movie.

Sometimes in my relationship I notice there are things that I want, but I am not asking directly for them.  I tend to do most things myself without asking for help and then end up feeling shut down and resentful when I start feeling overwhelmed.  Sound familiar?

I started inquiring about this phenomenon. What I see is the idea of “women not asking for what we want” is deeply ingrained into our culture and society.  Women are expected to go with the flow, accept what is given and be quiet – thank you very much.  Women are usually frowned upon for having strong boundaries and speaking up about what we want, how things feel to us, where our boundaries are – especially if we have any sort of “edge” in our voice when we are asking.  It is not an easy position to be in as a woman.

Thankfully, times are changing rapidly and we as women can start practicing how to ask for what we want such that people (ok, with a great focus on the men in our lives) will be inspired to provide it for us.  First things first,

KNOW WHAT YOUR NEEDS ARE
Most women I encounter through coaching and facilitating courses are not in touch with their needs and desires.  Many women are so accustomed to caring for others, there is a delay in responding to this questioning, and at the extreme, a deflection of being able to say what is really pleasing to them.  This is a big red flag.  When I find myself getting irritated and overwhelmed, I stop and ask myself – what am  I needing right now?  When I do this, many times the answer is right there.  It is an act of self love and respect to honor ourselves in this way.  Then I look a step deeper.  Is this something I can provide myself,  or is it time to ask for assistance, nurturance, understanding, etc.

When I bring my needs to my man from a place of love and honesty, he can hear me and naturally wants to give me what I am needing in that moment. When I come from a place of “he is wrong for not reading my mind, not noticing the situation, he should be more blah, blah, blah – that is a NO WIN game.  Men do not respond well to that kind of communication, as I am sure you have probably experienced!

There are much more productive ways for us to communicate to others, ask for and receive what we desire!  One of the tools I love to use is a technique created by Marshall Rosenberg with the Center for Non-Violent Communication:

Here is the  four-step model:
1) Observe
Observe what is going on without judgment.
“I notice that when I see dirty dishes in the sink, I get uncomfortable.”

2) Feel
“I feel agitated, sad and defeated.”

3) Need
“I need to know and feel that we are in partnership with keeping common areas clean and tidy.”

Request
“I request that we make sure all dishes in the sink are cleaned after a meal is eaten, unless otherwise agreed upon.”

Using this model has changed my life and has added much love and compassion to my relationship where before there was upset and breakdown.  Check out the website for more info and depth on how the model works.  Enjoy it!

Ok, now that we have taken the time to rehash the past and feel all of those feelings we might have avoided in the last blog posting… (there is still time if you have been too scared or resigned to dig in!) it is time to Create the Future!

I personally don’t like hanging out in feelings that don’t feel good to me or forward where I desire to go in life. I support you in doing the same. It is important to face, process and heal wounds; that is so you can move on to the reason we are all here - to enjoy the abundance and beauty of life and living!

If I sound like an exuberant cheerleader waving her pom-pom’s and jumping all around, it is because the more I practice what I preach, the more I see amazing results happening and want to share my joy with YOU!

I created a vision board (cut out pictures, words, etc. that capture all your desires - read more in my book “Living your Dreams”) in 2007 that included OM symbols, a diamond ring, yoga poses, travel pictures, etc. - and by the end of 2007 - I had done most of the things on my vision board - including getting engaged on Christmas Day! - VISION BOARDS WORK!
Ok - so the second step is to ~ Take the time to create 2008.

If you have not already done so, pick three areas of your life that deeply inspire you to make a lot of progress on this year. This can be anything from Financial Abundance, Thriving Relationships, Inspiring Career, Happy Hobbies, Self-Care, Gorgeous Body, etc.

After you pick these areas, write down what Success in each of these categories would look like to you.

One of my areas of focus this year is Financial Abundance. I wrote “Success in the area of Financial Abundance looks like me having $50k in the bank, zero debt, start of a diversified investment portfolio and double-digit savings.” That is a pretty clear plan and allows me, the people around me and Universal Guidance to conspire to help me achieve those goals!

It is also gives me a great foundation from which I can create my Vision Board. I will post a picture of my 2008 vision board when it is complete (due by the end of next week!) I would LOVE to see your vision boards for 2008 - so pls send me your pictures!
