Debbie Ford and The Right Questions
It is almost March already! I can’t believe how quickly time flies. Recently, I began to think about which of the amazing experts I have interviewed on my show have given me great guidance in the area of self motivation and understanding (and even dismantling) self-sabotage. I came up with one of my favorite people - Debbie Ford - and her book The Right Questions. I appreciate the fact that Debbie and I have done a few interviews over the years and that her information is always spot on. Her work has the ability to go deep into the heart of our issues and help us discover what we might be missing about what is having us be stuck.
One Debbie Ford book I recommend you read is The Right Questions. Reconnecting with this book helped me see that I one of the ways I deflect feeling what is going on with me is that I drink coffee. Caffeine gives me this energetic (vibrational) charge that simulates the environment I grew up in as a child. When I am feeling a little nervous or overwhelmed - my initial, unconscious reaction is to reach for even MORE of that unsettled energy because that is what my body is used to feeling. Isn’t that wild? It is not healthy and in the long term can have serious health effects but we aren’t really present to that when we are needing a “fix” are we? : )
Stay tuned for more information on helping me kick my caffeine habit! And in the meantime - check out Debbie Ford’s great book - The Right Questions and start your own inquiry to reveal what is really going on for you too!
