Episode 3: David Deida and The Gift of The Masculine
What gifts do we bring to each other as men and women? As embodiments of masculine impulses and forces and of feminine impulses and forces? How are they different and how are they the same? There’s been a whole lot of confusion over what it means to be a man or a woman and all combinations thereof, during the past 40 years. We have outgrown the latest phase of history, where the masculine dominated, with production and violent change shaping social relations. Feminism succeeded in equalizing the right of both genders to be masculine — and now with a sense of equality, women are re-discovering that feminine power is unique. And men are being forced to realize that it is no less powerful. As men struggle to find a way of being in relationship with the feminine that is both powerfully masculine and self-aware, they are discovering the gifts of the masculine to be liberating — both from the brute stereotypes that preceded the modern age, and from the wishy-washy “soft” man that women find so emasculated — though wonderful feng-shui partners. This week, we begin our 3-Part exploration of the great gifts of the masculine, as we drill into the first two of the The Three Pillars of the Masculine — Purpose, Presence and Freedom — as I have culled them from the work of David Deida . Fully embodied, they are a gift — to everybody. Enjoy — and let me know what you think…

I am a female listening to the audio on each segment and I have been fascinated with this one, revisiting it. I hear a profoundness to this innate ability to capture that male core - IF THE SOUL KNOWS WHAT IT IS LOOKING FOR.
The description of energies and the sacred union, gift, is synchronous with the happenings in my own life with its sense of purpose - as a feminine energy - and I await the segments on the ‘gift of the feminine’ with enthusiasm.
Adam, thank you for following your deepest sense of purpose. I can only imagine, if you touched my soul by what you have said, in such a synchronous manner, how many other souls did you also touch across the globe listening in?
Long ago, exposed to Eastern Religions, their ways through Yoga, tai chi, reiki, buddhism, hinduism, oriental medicine practices, a practicing massage therapist myself, I yearned for a sacred union. Along the years, motherhood’s sense of mission ruled, my yearning was placed on a back burner, just dating many.
I realized my own deeper purpose in recent years, struggling to find my way, I asked for a helpmate. 17 years from the onstart of my earliest esposure to my path, my helpmate appears answering my ad, only days after placing this ad, to combine all those masculine energies I loved in those that went before him, except this time, as a practicing Dalaist 15 years. I imagine I am ready for this next phase in my life, and the universal cosmos do too.
This is the most truly satisfying way to love, and live. When it - this state of being - is there, it does not hide but makes itself wholly known to each other in all “its” beauty and majestic magnificentness.
With my BS degree studies, biology, chemistry, anatomy & physiology, coupled with my massage apprenticeship School of Mind Body Study Integrations, there is absolutely, and never was a doubt that we are pure energy forms interacting with one another. Macro and microcosmos units.
I look forward to many more fascinating lectures. Thank you.

I love your site. They really look very nice. The articles provided are long enough to provide great content but not so long as to be totally engrossing, if you know what I mean.
