Mark Skidmore from “Obama for America” to Keynote eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit
I’m speaking at the eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit here in San Jose in May and just saw the keynote announcement.
I am looking forward to hearing Mark Skidmore, director of advertising and promotion for Blue State Digital, widely known for his work with Obama for America, present a keynote titled, “Measuring the Success of a Movement – BarakObama.com.”
That was one impressive national program – understatement of the century. Mark’s going to focus on the metrics they measured for the campaign and the website. I can’t wait to hear that!

Joe Megibow from Hotels.com will speak about, “Customer Voice and Customer Experience – How to Listen, Learn and Provide What Your Customers Really Want.”
During eMetrics “Marketing Labs,” SkyMall will reveal their approach to abandoned basket success and FootWearETC will present their solution for personalized merchandising in email powered by website search.
These all sound really good to me.
